March arrived with a clear verdict. No dress watches. No two-tone. No crossover pieces hedging their bets between the office and the weekend. Every watch on this month's list is a tool watch in the purest sense, including divers, GMTs, and chronographs from top to bottom. Whatever collectors were weighing in January and February, by March they'd made up their minds.

10. Omega Speedmaster "Moonwatch" Ref. 310.30.42.50.04.001

The white-dial Moonwatch drops five spots from February's strong showing at fifth, but its continued presence on the list reflects something consistent about this reference: it never fully leaves the conversation. Where the black-dial version commands authority, this one earns a second look. The inverted palette reads fresh without asking for much in return.

9. Rolex Yacht-Master 42 Ref. 226627-0001

The Yacht-Master 42 makes its first appearance on this list, and its arrival in a month defined entirely by tool watches is the more interesting detail. Its platinum bezel and bidirectional rotating ring set it apart from the broader Rolex sport lineup, and its placement here suggests collectors are casting wider within the catalog without abandoning the category. Even on a list this focused, there's room for something that earns its place on its own terms.

8. Omega Seamaster Diver 300M "No Time to Die" Ref. 210.90.42.20.01.001

After two months off the list, the Bond Seamaster returns. It peaked at third last September, and while it has settled lower since, March confirms it hasn't lost its footing. The titanium construction keeps it genuinely distinct from the steel dive watch field, being lighter, more muted, and less finished in a way that reads as intentional rather than incomplete. For a watch defined by restraint, quietly reappearing in eighth feels right.

7. Rolex GMT-Master II "Batman" Ref. 126710BLNR-0003

The Batman holds its ground, appearing in roughly the same range it has occupied across the past several months. Its Oyster bracelet and blue-and-black ceramic bezel remains a reliable combination of familiar enough to carry broad appeal, but specific enough to hold the attention of collectors who have thought carefully about which GMT they actually want on their wrist.

6. Omega Speedmaster Professional "Moonwatch" Ref. 310.30.42.50.01.002

The black-dial Moonwatch returns after sitting out February. It held the top spot for two consecutive months last spring and has rarely been far from view since, making last month's absence the exception rather than the rule. March's placement feels less like a comeback and more like a correction , with the reference now being back where the data almost always puts it.

5. Tudor Black Bay 58 GMT Ref. M7939G1A0NRU-0001

The BB58 GMT makes its debut on this list, and its arrival in the top five is the month's most pointed data point. Tudor's entry is the only watch here that isn't a Rolex or Omega, and it lands squarely in the middle of a list dominated by the GMT category. Its 39mm case and two-register movement offer the GMT conversation at a significantly different price point. The fact that it cracks the top five in its first appearance suggests that conversation has more participants than the Rolex-only rankings have typically reflected.

4. Rolex Submariner Date Ref. 116610LN

The previous-generation Submariner returns after nearly a year away, last appearing in April 2025. Its case dimensions, lug profile, and overall presence differ just enough from the current 126610LN to make it a deliberate choice rather than a fallback. That both generations sit in March's top four says something specific about the Submariner's range: collectors aren't choosing between them so much as wanting each for what it distinctly is.

3. Rolex GMT-Master II "Batgirl" Ref. 126710BLNR-0002

The Batgirl jumps seven positions from February's tenth place to third, the largest single-month move on this list. It has appeared on and off since April 2025, never quite establishing itself at the top of the rankings until now. The Jubilee bracelet softens the GMT's profile just enough to broaden its appeal without diluting it, and March's data reflects that. A seven-spot climb doesn't happen without a meaningful shift in where collector attention is landing.

2. Rolex GMT-Master II "Bruce Wayne" Ref. 126710GRNR-0003

Context matters here. The Bruce Wayne has led this list four times in the past six months. It held the top spot in August, October, and November, and sat at second in September and December. A slip to fourth in February was the first time since July it had fallen that far, and March brings it straight back to second. The grey-and-black bezel and Jubilee bracelet have proven consistently appealing across a wide range of collector profiles, and the data over the past year makes the case more plainly than any single month can.

1. Rolex Submariner Date Ref. 126610LN-0001

The black Submariner leads for the second consecutive month. It has appeared in nine of the eleven months tracked in this series, and no other reference has spent more time on this list. The 126610LN doesn't need a seasonal moment or a cultural catalyst to climb. Its position here is the product of sustained, unconditional demand from collectors who keep arriving at the same answer. In a month that stripped the list down to its essentials, the most essential watch came out on top.
