Explore the top luxury watches collectors chased in October 2026, including standout models from Rolex and Omega.

October brought a fair amount of movement. The Bruce Wayne and black-dial Moonwatch hold the top two positions for a second consecutive month, but below them, half of September's lineup has disappeared. Two generations of the black Submariner Date are back together, the Batman reaches a new high, and Tudor returns with an updated GMT. After September's unusually strong showing from Omega, October looks considerably more familiar.

The Root Beer returns for the first time since April, landing in exactly the same tenth-place position. Its recent history has been anything but consistent. It led this list outright in December, disappeared for much of the spring and summer, and now finds its way back into the ten. The Everose gold, brown-and-black bezel, and two-tone construction give it a character quite unlike the steel GMTs above it. That it has occupied both ends of this ranking within a year makes its latest appearance worth watching.

The Oyster-bracelet Bruce Wayne returns after missing September, reclaiming the ninth-place position it held in August. Its Jubilee-equipped counterpart continues to dominate the top of the list, but the two configurations have appeared together often enough that their relationship has become a recurring story of its own. The Oyster remains the more straightforward choice, giving the grey-and-black GMT a sportier, less decorative profile. Once again, the same watch appears at both ends of the rankings, separated by little more than a bracelet.

The Bond Seamaster climbs two places from September, marking its second consecutive appearance after six months away. With the white-dial Moonwatch now absent, it joins the black Speedmaster as one of only two Omegas on the list. Its titanium construction, tropical brown dial, and matching aluminum bezel remain a distinctive combination, particularly among the predominantly steel watches surrounding it. After a long stretch outside the rankings, the No Time to Die has returned with some momentum.

The Black Bay 58 GMT returns to the rankings, though not quite in the configuration collectors saw in March. Tudor introduced the five-link bracelet option at Watches & Wonders in April, giving the 39mm GMT a more refined alternative to its original three-link setup. The black-and-burgundy bezel, gilt dial, and METAS-certified movement remain unchanged, but the new bracelet shifts its character considerably. March's original version debuted at fifth, and October's updated reference arrives at seventh, keeping Tudor in the conversation alongside a considerably more expensive field of GMTs.

The previous-generation Submariner returns after a month away, settling into sixth, the same position it held in August. Its 40mm Super Case and broader lugs distinguish it from the current 126610LN, though neither reference has struggled to find an audience on this list. October marks the first time since July that both generations have appeared together. The older Submariner continues to hold its own, suggesting collectors aren't necessarily treating the newer reference as a replacement.

The current Submariner Date climbs one spot from September to fifth, continuing its recovery after dropping off the list entirely in August. It was number one as recently as June, making its recent run through the middle of the rankings a noticeable departure from the first half of the year. The slimmer lugs and revised proportions of the 41mm case distinguish it from the previous generation sitting directly below. Both are back in the top six, but neither has yet recovered the ground the Submariner occupied through spring.

The Panda returns after missing September and lands at fourth, its highest placement since debuting on this list in June. It spent July and August at fifth, establishing itself as a regular presence before briefly disappearing last month. The current-generation Daytona retains the familiar white dial and black subdials that have made this configuration the most recognizable in the collection, with the refined case and updated movement Rolex introduced in 2023. Its return puts it ahead of both black Submariners, a first for the reference.

The Batman climbs from fourth to third, reaching a new high just one month after returning from a five-month absence. Its blue-and-black ceramic bezel and Oyster bracelet give it a distinctly sportier character than the Jubilee-equipped Batgirl, which has dropped off the list after appearing in September. The two have traded places and occasionally charted together throughout the series, but October puts the Oyster version firmly ahead. Two months back, two top-five finishes, and now a place on the podium.

The black-dial Moonwatch holds second for another month, extending a run that has made it Omega's most consistent presence on this list. September was something of an exception, with its white-dial sibling finishing directly behind it in third. That watch is now gone, leaving the original configuration to carry Omega's challenge near the top. Having appeared in all but one edition of this series, the Moonwatch has demonstrated a kind of consistency that few references can match. October adds another second-place finish to an already considerable record.

Four consecutive months at number one, and nine first-place finishes across the eighteen months this series has tracked. The Jubilee-bracelet Bruce Wayne has now led exactly half of all editions, a record no other reference comes close to matching. What began as a back-and-forth with the black Submariner has become a much less competitive affair, with the latter now sitting fifth and the Moonwatch holding second. The return of the Oyster-bracelet Bruce Wayne at ninth only reinforces the reference's broader appeal. At this point, the more interesting question is what it will take to knock the Jubilee version off the top.
