Explore the top luxury watches collectors chased in September 2026, including standout models from Rolex and Omega.

It's been quite the month for Omega. Three of its watches made the September list, more than the watchmaker has ever placed at once, with two of them finishing in the top three. Both Speedmasters sit at second and third, stacked one above the other, with the Seamaster closing out the ten. After a year in which Rolex has controlled all but the edges of this list, September's podium reads Rolex, Omega, Omega.

The Bond Seamaster returns after six months away, last seen in March. Grade 2 titanium keeps it light, the tropical brown aluminum bezel and matching dial give it a warmth few divers attempt, and the titanium mesh bracelet ties it directly to the version Daniel Craig wore on screen. Its return rounds out the Omega story from the bottom of the list, giving the brand a foothold at both ends of the ten.

The Starbucks gives back nearly all of last month's climb, falling from second to ninth. August was its strongest showing in nearly a year, buoyed by the absence of the standard Submariner Date, and with that reference back this month the green Sub settles to the lower half. Its appeal has never been in question, but September serves as a reminder that its high placements tend to depend on what else is or isn't in the running.

The previous-generation ceramic GMT-Master II reappears after a month away, holding a spot in the lower third. Its black Cerachrom bezel, without the two-tone color of its successors, remains the quietest way into the ceramic GMT era. It's never climbed far up this list, but it keeps finding its way back. That's the mark of a reference with a committed following.

The Batgirl ticks up a spot from August, holding steady in the back half. Its blue-and-black bezel on a Jubilee bracelet gives it a softer profile than the Batman it shares the list with this month, the first time both blue-and-black GMTs have charted together since the winter. That pairing, more than its own placement, is what makes the Batgirl worth watching in September.

The current Submariner Date returns after dropping off the list entirely in August, though it comes back to sixth rather than the summit it occupied for much of the year. This is the reference that was number one as recently as June, and a mid-table return confirms what August first hinted at. The watch that anchored this list all year is genuinely cooling, no longer the automatic presence at the top it had been through spring.

The no-date Submariner climbs five spots from August to reach fifth, its best placement since debuting in the spring. With no date window or cyclops to interrupt the dial, it strips the Submariner down to its original idea, and its rise this month puts it above the dated version for the first time. Collectors chasing the shape in its most essential form are increasingly willing to skip the complication to get it.

The Batman returns after five months off the list and lands at fourth, a new high for the reference. Its blue-and-black ceramic bezel and Oyster bracelet have always made it one of the most versatile GMTs Rolex offers, and clearly the time away did nothing to dull the appetite for it. A jump straight into the top five after months of absence is the sharpest reentry the list has seen this year.

The white-dial Moonwatch returns after two months away and lands at third, matching the highest it's ever placed. Its panda-style dial, dark subregisters set into white, reads brighter and more legible than the standard black version it sits directly beneath this month. Both Moonwatches in the top three at once is the clearest sign yet that collector interest in the Speedmaster runs well beyond a single configuration.

The black-dial Moonwatch rebounds to second after slipping to seventh in August, erasing that dip in a single month. This is a watch that led the list outright in the spring of last year, so a return to the upper tier is well within its range. It has appeared in every month but one across the entire series, making it Omega's steadiest presence by far, and September adds the company of its white-dial sibling for the first time in more than a year.

The Bruce Wayne makes it three months at number one, and with them an eighth first-place finish across the seventeen months this series has tracked. No other watch has led even half as often. What began as a back-and-forth with the Submariner has become a stretch of the Bruce Wayne standing alone, and with the Sub now drifting to sixth, September finds the grey-and-black GMT further ahead of the field than it has ever been.
